Service Information

Mother’s Reaching Hands of Washtenaw County is now available to assist families in need of clothing for their babies and young children. The 501c3 non-profit organization (EIN 92-0795491) offers FREE new and gently used clothes and supplies to low-income families. We currently have baby onesies, disposable diapers, pants, shirts, bibs, socks, coats, boots, shoes, baby blankets, underpants, boys' and girls’ size 0-12.

Donated shoes are also available. Make an appointment to look and choose.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. For service, families must have proof of being low-income.
  2. We are open Monday - Saturday by appointment only.
  3. To make an appointment call 313-364-0338 or email us at mothersreachinghands@gmail.com.
  4. Our Drop Off (for tax deductible donations) and Pick Up (for low-income families) is located at Mt. Olive Church, 436 Hawkins St., Ypsilanti, MI 48198.

o Mental Health or Substance Abuse - Call 734-544-3050, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When you call, express that you'd like to learn about behavioral health services. Someone from the clinical team will talk to you about your needs and ask for more information regarding your situation. Getting Support!

We are dedicated to helping low-income parents with young children who are struggling by providing FREE clothing (NB-size 11) and other supplies. Families must provide proof of low income.  We are open Monday-Saturday by appointment only.
